Ghana Health Service Department has confirmed that 31 of the 152 infected people with COVID-19 have recovered. The department added that most of the other patients were responding well to treatment and more recoveries are expected.
COVID-19 cases in Ghana rose to 152 last week something which saw the government lockdown some parts of Accra, Kumasi, and Tema. The move which was arrived at to try to reduce the spread of the virus is seen to be bearing fruits because the rate of spread is slowing down. Security personnel has been deployed in the affected areas to ensure that the lockdown is effected.
