Mariam Batuley who is 16-year-old, a JHS Three (3) student has hanged herself one day before sitting for her last paper in the just-ended Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at Abesewa, a region at Dunkwa On Offin in Upper Denkyira East.
The late left home on Thursday night around 10 pm to attend to a nature call which is a few meters from the house, but she did not come back, this is according to the Information gathered by Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan.
She was found on 19th September morning hanging on a tree along the way to the toilet after a search was then conducted to locate her. Her classmates said that she did not sit for their last paper on Friday which left them worried why she did not turn up only for them to wake up on Saturday morning to hear the sad news of her death.
Her body has been conveyed and deposited it at Dunkwa On-Offin Mortuary by the Dunkwa Police Division.
