A new Mobile Money System has been launched to ensure secure transactions of Mobile Money. “Move Secure by Nsano” has been introduced to curb the lack of trust within online Commerce.
According to the country manager for Nsano, the system works by “holding money in the trust till both vendor and buyer” confirm that they are satisfied with the transaction. She said that this system will, “restore the declining levels of trust between online buyers and vendors.”
The system will ensure that buyers are refunded their money in case of a scam or when the wrong order is delivered to them. Besides, the launch will assist vendors in confirming that payment has been made before releasing orders. In case the Buyer or the Vendor is not satisfied, he or she will be able to initiate a dispute within the move App or through the USSD code (7188#).
