Bishop Titi-Ofei withdraws 100-bed isolation facility

by The Ghana HIT

Bishop Titi-Ofei has withdrawn the 100-bed facility he had offered the government as an isolation center. The withdrawal came after protests from his neighbors who felt that bringing people to the facility would be increasing their chances of contracting the virus. While withdrawing the offer Bishop Titi-Ofei acknowledged the concerns from his neighbors adding that he was going to look for other ways to help in the fight against coronavirus.

The man of God had offered the facility earlier this week which is located in Tema. Tema is one of the mapped areas as a coronavirus hotspot by the government.
