Coach Akonnor Has named Four more Players who will be participating in World Cup Qualifiers Competitions.

Black stars coach as named four other players who be participating in World Cup Qualifiers Competition in January 2022. Following the effects of the Covid-19 and injuries of some critical Black stars’ players, Charles Akonnor added more players to the original list.

Joseph Aidoo, who lives in Spain, is among the players added to the list of world Cup qualifiers. He will be playing against Ethiopia and South Africa. Besides, Celta Vigo man will be part of the team due to the likelihood of Defender Amartey being absent following a clash in Johannesburg.

The premier league clubs are planning not to release their players to participate in Covid-19 red-list nations; therefore, five Ghanaian players might not play during the second game in South Africa. The five players include Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Tariqe Fosu-Henry, Baba Abdul Rahman, and Andrew Yiadom. The Black stars will set up a Camp in Cape Coast on August 31, 2021, and play against Ethiopia on September 3, 2021, at 7 pm.
