Thursday, October the 8th marked the official release of the complete game fixtures in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League by the Ghana Football Association (GFA). The decision to kick off the matches comes months after the Premier League was canceled earlier in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic and is scheduled to restart on November the 13th.
As per the fixtures, Medeama SC, Ashanti Gold SC, and, Asante Kotoko SC will welcome the season with Home matches whereas Dreams FC, Hearts of Oak, and, Karela FC face their opponents while away. The match between Aduana Stars and Hearts of is expected to be the glariest event of the week as Elmina Sharks are welcomed by Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs FC on the other end.
GFA further outlined that weekend matches will be carried out between Fridays and Sundays whereas midweek matches will be undertaken between Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively with matches being played in the morning, mid-morning, and evening based on the time agreed upon with the StarTimes Television partners.
According to the match fixtures released by GFA, the 2020/2021 league will come to an end on the 18th of July 2021.
