Danny Welbeck a British football star with Ghanaian origin has sent food donations to help people from his maternal hometown. Welbeck is from Nkawiepanin which is a town in the Ashanti region. The send donations which include sanitary items and good are said to be worthy GHs 70,000.
The items were delivered by Charlotte Adwoa who Danny’s auntie living in Ghana. While delivering the donations she said that Danny Welbeck was concerned about how people are surviving during these hard times.
The Ghanaian government is working hard to provide food for over 400,000 vulnerable people in the country. This is to prevent malnutrition and hunger during this period.
