Foreign Investors Express Absolute Interest in Ghana’s Economy

by The Ghana HIT

While drumming up support for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the forthcoming elections, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, has revealed how most foreign investors have expressed interest in investing in Ghana’s economy. Botchwey further noted that it is out of the good leadership policies laid down by Akufo-Addo that the investors have expressed interest in investing in Ghana’s local economy and thus creating more job opportunities for Ghanaians.

The Minister, who was speaking during the Tema Sewer Network sod-cutting ceremony, revealed that Ghana has had the fastest growing economy in the world before the Covid-19 pandemic. Botchwey has however remained optimistic with the investors’ interests of investing in Ghana’s economy revealing that establishing oil production branches in the country is their main agenda which will greatly revamp the Ghanaian economy.

“But for coronavirus Ghana will be the fastest economy in the world. We will regain that glory,” said the minister. Mrs. Botchwey concluded by urging Ghanaians to retain Akufo-Addo as their President in the coming December polls.
