Afrochella is a one-day festival that will take place in Accra, Ghana on 28th December 2019 at the E1 Wak Stadium.
With Ghana’s Year of Return, the 2019 event is expected to be epic. When the event kicked off in 2017, more than 4,000 people attended Afrochella. In 2018, attendance almost tripled with 10,000 attendees.
The Afrochella festival celebrates African excellence in music, culture, and fashion.
Afrochella is more than just a festival; the purpose of it is to boost the economy and raise charity in Ghana.

The theme of this year’s Afrochella is “Diaspora Calling”, there will be over 50 live music performances. Comedian Young Prince, MC Lolade Olayokun, and Actor Charles Okocha are the hosts of this year’s Afrochella’s Festival.
The festival will also feature a series of events following the main event on Dec 28th, for example, an “African Royalty Night” event is scheduled to take place on Jan 1, 2020. African Royalty Night is a night of indulgence and elegance to celebrate the diversity of African Life through the lenses of its people!
