by Ghana HIT

President Akufo-Addo asked Ghanaians to give him a second chance so that he can continue improving the conditions of Ghana.

Akufo-Addo made this appeal while addressing the people of Weija Gbawe as a part of his tour to the Greater Accra Region on Dec 3rd. President Akufo Addo stated,

“Four more [years] for Nana so that we can continue the foundation that we are laying for Ghana. It is important that all the strong work that is going into reconstructing our economy and laying the foundation for agriculture and industry, and our education and health system [is maintained].”

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by the former president of Ghana, John Mahama, has vowed to save Ghanaians from their sufferings.

According to The Economist Intelligence Unit, there are high chances that the governing Akufo- Addo will secure the re-elections in 2020.

Akufo-Addo has been in office since 2017. He ran as a presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party for the third time in the 2016 general elections, this time defeating John Dramani Mahama.
