In a recent interview, American Rapper Lil Wayne disclosed that he is 53% Nigerian.
Wayne also said that he had been tracing his African roots. According to the rapper, “Shout out to Nigeria, I did my 23 and me ancestry dot com and my shit came back like 53% Nigerian. Yea! Me and my mom need to have a talk.”
Lil Wayne has been expressing his love for Nigeria. In fact in one of his hit songs, Amili he made reference to the West African Country. Some few weeks ago while playing ‘Never Ever Have I”, he also stated that he would love to visit Egypt and Nigeria.
