The mother of a two-year-old boy has said that she watched her son burn into ashes. The fire outbreak resulted from fuel tanker explosion in their community.
The mother revealed that she had left her son together with his ailing father. At the time she was coming back from the firm she heard her community wailing and run to save their lives.
“I realized that there is a fire outbreak in the community and I couldn’t come near the fire to save my son. After the incident, I was told someone went to our house and saved my husband but the person was not aware that my son was in the room. My son tried to leave the room but because of the heat but he fell down and he couldn’t wake up till got burnt beyond recognition.”
More than ten houses were burned and around one hundred and fifty people were displaced from their homes. Besides, a lot of property was destroyed.
