Joseph Paul Amoah will not be in the Men’s 200m Final at Tokyo Olympics.

Joseph Paul Amoah did not manage to secure a spot in the final of the 200 meters Men’s race at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He had qualified for the semi-finals in the early hours of today after he secured the third position. The Ghanaian athlete finished the semi-finals race in 20.27 seconds and therefore, secured the fourth position.

America’s Erriyon Knighton secured the first position in the semi-finals while Rasheed Dwyer from Jamaica was in position two. Divine Oduduru from Nigeria occupied the third position.
The Ghanaian athlete was the only remaining hope for Ghana at the Olympics sports games. So far, Ghana has only won one medal in Tokyo Olympics.
