The Tema East Constituency of the NPP has claimed that their parliamentary candidate, Titus Glover, was not involved with the arresting and detention of the parliamentary candidate of NDC. The supporters of the NDC from the Tema East constituency gathered at the Tema region 11 police station on Monday night. Their agenda was to demand the release of their parliamentary candidate of that region. The parliamentary candidate was accused of alleged embezzlement when he was Mayor of Tema.

The information that is currently trending says that the parliamentary candidate failed to meet a bail condition that he was given by the court of Accra and therefore he was held by the police. Even though he has already been released, his supporters are accusing Titus Glover of his arrest. Nene Sackitey, the Tema East constituency Secretary of the NPP, has said that the accusation is not true. Besides, Nene has accused NDC of destroying the office of NPP.
