Reports reaching theghanahit.com indicate that over 100 health workers from the Central Region are now positive for Covid-19. The deputy regional health director from the region in an interview indicated that the health workers were part of the recorded 439 cases from the region.
The regional health director indicated that the health workers were stable and in good hands. He however expressed frustration by people who have decided not to wear face masks. He urged people to observe the health guidelines provided by the government to reduce the spread of the virus.
