Patricia Obo-Nia the chief executive officer of Vodafone Ghana was crowned as the best CEO of the Year during the Ghana Information Technology and Telcom Awards (GITTA). Ghana’s Information Technology and Telecom Awards (GITTA), marks the 10th edition and was conducted at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
The yearly awards are meant for celebrating telecommunications and ICT excellence. They reward firms and people who have excelled over the last one year and the past 10 years.
The distinguished CEO of the Year award category confirms Patricia’s great contribution to the telecommunication industry after leading for a year and a half. Besides, the telco was also rewarded as Telecom Business of the Decade, Digital Enabler of the Year, and Customer Experience Company of the Year at the event.
During the ceremony, Akin Naphtal, the CEO and Founder of the Ghana Information Technology and Telecom Awards (GITTA), stated that over the years awards have advanced to become a benchmark for great performance in the Telecommunications and ICT sector for appreciating firms in Ghana. Besides, he appreciated all winners for their good work towards developing the ICT and Telecommunications sector in Ghana.
