The president has praised the procedures put in place by his administration to ensure the nation’s economy gets back on track. Nana Akufo-Addo had assured that his government will work towards improving the economy. “We know how to bring back the economy to life. What we don’t know is how to bring people back to life,” President Nana Akufo said on March 28, 2020.
While speaking on Tuesday, July 20, at the National Mosque Complex at Kanda said, “Our country is making a faster economic recovery in comparison to many around the world with our economy expanding by 3.1% in the first quarter of 2021. In many economies around the world due to the effects of Covid-19, governments are finding it difficult to attract the needed investment in the productive areas of their economies.”
Besides the president said that the Ghanaian economy is doing better compared to other countries. “The investor community continues to cast a vote of confidence in our economy and several companies are making investments in our economy that will create jobs for the young people of our country,” he stated. He affirmed that his government is focused on creating opportunities for the youth.
