Professor Richard Amankwah appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of UMaT

Professor Richard Kwasi Amankwah has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT). Amankwah is taking over from Professor Jerry Yao Kuma is completing his term on 15th Oct 2020.

Professor Richard Amankwa was the dean, Faculty of Integrated Management science at the same university before his appointment. His term as the new Vice-Chancellor will run from 16th Oct 2020 to 31st July 2024.

The new announcement was meant by the university council during its 75th special meeting which was held on Friday the 14th Aug 2020.
