Some confusion emerged at Mahama’s voting Centre

by The Ghana HIT

On Monday, December 7, some confusion emerged at Bole Bamboi Constituency where the presidential candidate Mahama came to vote. The confusion started when one of Mahama’s Security guards did not find his name in the voter’s register. According to the guard, this is where he had registered to vote and due to this mistake, he could not vote.

Speaking to some journalists, John Dramani stated that they had already addressed the Electoral Commission (EC) Concerning this issue but they did rectify it. “One of my security guards, I registered here with him and during the exhibition, we checked his name. We got here today and his name is not there and so I don’t know if it’s a generalized problem but it is too early to make this assessment.”

“We are waiting to find out what the presiding officer will say. We hope that they can rectify this. These are some of the little things that we kept complaining about.”
