The 2022 World Cup qualifiers have been rescheduled.

The 2022 World Cup qualifiers have been rescheduled as a result of challenges related to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Ghana’s Black Stars are in Group C together with South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia.

The world cup qualifiers were planned to begin as of June 2021 but fortunately, it has been postponed. The Confederations of Africa Football (CAF) has issued a statement clarifying that the qualifiers have been rescheduled to begins as from September. CAF also indicated that it has been scheduled to end in March 2022.

Ghana did not qualify to participate during the 2018 world Cup. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has requested Akonnor to qualify them for the next world Cup.
