The Hearts of Oak have moved to position one on the Ghana Premier League after defeating Eleven Wonders by one Goal. They are leading with 46 points but Asante Kotoko may overtake them in case they defeat WAFA. It is the first time for Hearts of Oaks to occupy the position since 2016.
The Hearts of Oak moved to the first position, on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Ohene Ameyaw Park during the first half. Even though the Eleven Wonder’s came back tough during the second half they did not manage to score. The Eleven Wonder had a penalty call during the second half but the referee did not grant them the penalty.
