The number of people losing life in Ghana to Covid-19 is increasing. Three more cases were recorded today.
The number of deaths has increased from 280 to 283 regarding the newest update given on Saturday, September 5, by the Disease Surveillance Department of the Ghana Health Services.
Ghana’s active cases stand at 801 while the recovered patients stand at 43,000.
Among the 801 patients, fourteen are in a severe state, 6 are in the critical state while 3 on ventilators.
Only sixty-four new cases were recorded, Increasing the total number of patients to 44,777 since the outbreak Covid-19 in the country.
Last Thursday, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, the Director-General of the Service, stated that only 4 out of the sixteen regions are attending to the active cases.
