by The Ghana HIT

The Ghanaian Relay team did not manage to win the men’s 4*100m finals. The finals were held today, August 6, 2021. Although the team finished the race within 38.40 seconds and occupied the last position, they were later banned due to what looked like a baton change violation.

The Ghanaian team was competing against Germany, Canada, Jamaica, Great Britain, China, Italy, and Japan. The Italians emerged winners, while Britain occupied the second position and Canada the third position.

The relay team comprised Benjamin Azamati, Emmanuel Yeboah, Sean Safo Antwi, and Joseph Paul Amoah. They qualified for the finals yesterday after finishing their race in 38.08 seconds.
