A large number of Ghanaians turned up for the #FixTheCountry Demonstrations. The Demo started at the Obra Spot and ended at the Black Star Square. The long-awaited street protest commenced during the morning hours of Wednesday, August 4, 2021. The protestors were dressed in Black and red and they arrived at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle to join the “Disappointed Ghanaians” who were requesting better management of Ghana.
Reports indicate that Corona Virus guidelines were observed by all the protestors. Most of the them were seen in masks. The posters were clearly written, “Stop making foreigners look down on Ghana, wake up sleepy old president, Stop the corruption in the Judiciary, Fix our Education System now.”
