We are well prepared to play Sudan – Richard Ofori

by The Ghana HIT

Richard Ofori who is the Black-stars vice-captain has emphasized that the team is well prepared for today’s game against Sudan. Even though Ofori accompanied his team to Sudan, he will not be able to play today because he picked his 2nd yellow card in the qualifiers in the 1st leg in Cape Coast.

Speaking to Ghana’s ambassador in Egypt, Dr. Okai Hammond, he gave an assurance that Black stars will defeat Sudan. He further clarified that the 3 captains of Black stars will not participate in today’s game due to his suspension.

“Your Excellency (H.E Dr. Nii Okai Hammond), we thank you for the visit, we know what you are capable of, because we were with you in Egypt and you supported us throughout the tournament,” Ofori said

“So, what we can assure you is that we know the team, we played with them in Cape Coast and we know what they are capable of. But we can assure you that the guys are ready.”

Ofori concluded by saying “As you can see, today’s training, everything went well so the guys are ready and tomorrow we will give you victory.” In Case Black Stars beat Sudan, they will have qualified to go to Cameroon 2022 for the West Africans.
