The Traditional Council and residents of Sakora-Wonoo in Kwabre East Municipality have sent a warning to President Akufo, Vice president Dr. Bawamia, MP Francis Oteng Mensah, MCE Nana Osei Asibe Bonsu, National, Regional, and Constituency executives of the NPP not to see them during the final funeral rites of the late, Mr. Kwadwo.
The councils revealed that they betrayed the ex-General Secretary of the elephant family. Nana Ama Nyarko, the queen mother of the town said that this was the most appropriate time for the NPP government to show their last respect to Sir John by constructing their neglected road networks prior to his Burial.
Nana Nyarko further requested the NPP government to complete all the projects which Sir John began. She also warned NPP not to attend the funeral, “Now, I am boldly saying that we don’t need any of the aforementioned people at Wonoo should our demands are not considered.”
