Ghanaian president who is also the New Patriotic Party flagbearer Akufo-Addo has told Ghanaians to take registration as their responsibility so that the country can have a ready register before the December polls. The president told Ghanaians that it is their responsibility to ensure that the right people are in the register.
According to the president: “If you aid the registration of an ineligible person, and you are caught, you will face the full rigours of the law.”
Ghana will be having its most competitive election this year. The main contenders are the former president John Mahama and the current president Akudo-Addo.
