Shatta Wale has endorsed Akufo-Addo for Dec 7 elections

by The Ghana HIT

Celebrated Ghanaian artiste Shatta wale has endorsed President Akufo-Addo for the Dec 7 elections. Wale said that Akufo-Addo had done excellent work in his first term and that he deserved a second term.

According to Shatta Wale: “Everything should be left to fans, like elections- the way I’m going with Akufo-Addo, I’m so cool. Of course, the man has done a whole lot of nice things. I have not voted before but he has done great things that I think Ghanaians should consider him to run his four years term again.

“Trust me, I’ll tell you the thing because check this corona; he made sure that the health department is working so hard for us not to even get numbers of COVID-19 in our system. Even when he comes for the speech you see he is stressed, he cares so much about us the citizens. I’m not saying he is the best president but this COVID has made me see him so caring and has a plan for Ghana.”

Wale is known to be a huge Mahama fan but the current u-turn is huge. In the previous times, he performed in Mahama’s events and even had a song called ‘Mahama Paper’. In past interviews, Wale even stated that every president should be given time to complete their terms.

Ghana is going into the election in December with the competitors being the current president Akufo-Addo and the former president John Mahama. In a previous interview, Mahama said that we would only accept results if he sees them be free and fair. The two main political parties are divided on whether the current voter register should be updated or not.

The voter register story has seen the current EC chair threatened. We are expecting a lot of dram between now and the Dec 7 elections date.
