Bukom Banku’s family has requested him not bury his mother in Accra. The popular Boxer had a plan of laying his mum to rest in Accra because of his fame in this place.
Nevertheless, the family of the late have emphasized that Bukom should bury his mother in his hometown so that the family and relatives can attend. He said, “I wanted to bury my mother in Accra but the last time we went for the meeting, the family said they will bury her in her hometown at Awukugwa in the Eastern region.
However, when I come back, I will organize another funeral for my friends who could not come. The funeral is slated for July 16-17.”
