Kofi Kinaata says that Christmas celebrations are no longer enjoyable.

According to elderly people, Christmas celebrations are no longer sweet and enjoyable compared to the ancient days. Those days children used to entertain the adults in a temporary building. Kofi Kinaata has given his point of view concerning how Christmas is celebrated nowadays.

Speaking during an interview Kofi Kinaata said that “When we were kids, we weren’t having any cash on us but still, I will say that times have changed. These days the kids don’t play like we used to do in the past. Nowadays kids like watching television, playing on laptops, surfing online and so on. So, these days Christmas is normal and it’s just like our traditional festival such as Ogua fetu afahye.”

Furthermore, the ‘made in Taadi’ hitmaker stated that “Every year you’d hear some people saying that last year festival was enjoyable than this year. You’d also hear some people say that in the last two years the festivals were more enjoyable than last year. So as for Christmas if you have the money, you’d be able to enjoy yourself as you wish.”
