You will not win elections by sitting at home – John Dumelo

Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary candidate John Dumelo has hit back at critics who slammed his campaigning style. Dumelo told his critics that he cannot win the December elections if he does not campaign. He was responding to people who were criticizing his door-to-door campaign method.

John Dumelo has been interacting with people freely, even helping them with their house chores such as braiding hair and pounding fufu. Responding to the critics Dumelo wrote that:

“Decide to contest in an election and sit at home and watch Al Jazeera and see if u go get 2 votes”.

The actor is vying for the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat under the National Democratic Congress party.
