A 15-year-old boy has drowned at the Osu ‘Borla’ Beach. The student, Emanuel Avenu was a student at the St. Joseph Technical School and a resident of Odorkor. During the time of the incident, he is said to have gone with his friend to visit their friend at Osu.
On Thursday afternoon the three decided to go swimming at the sea. While at the sea one person realized that the boy together with one of his friends was drifting further into the sea. He immediately raised the alarm. Divers immediately started searching for them but the boy could not be found. On Friday morning people found his body on the shore.
