Cameroonians are very disappointed with the United States for appointing a gay as their new ambassador. Christopher Lamora was appointed in April by President Joe Biden. According to some reports Lamora is married and he is the wife in their relationship.

“Christopher J. Lamora is an advocate and member of the LGBT communication. He is presided over the LGBT pride month in Ghana where he was acting as the US Deputy Chief of Mission,” the report read.

It is a criminal offence under the Cameroon law to be involved in Same-sex activists. They recently arrested a few members of the LGBT in Yoaunde and jailed two of them. A large number of citizens in Cameroon is worried that the US might introduce gay rights in their country.
