Four young female engineers have dominated the automobile industry in Ghana.

Ghana’s automobile industry is among the soaring industries in the country. This industry is improving at a very high speed and women have begun to dominate it.

According to the four female engineers, they have specialized in the production of solar-electric cars and motorbikes at SolarTaxi automobile company. It’s three years now since solarTaxi started operating. Their source of energy is solar and electric modules.

The women in this company are 23 years old and below. Besides, they are at the front line of the assembling and production department of the industry. They insisted that their main goal is to make difference in the automobile industry.

Speaking during an interview with George Appiah, the Chief Executive of the company, said that each female worker is qualified. He stressed that they have a great passion for using their knowledge and skills to make a positive change in the automobile industry which is usually occupied by men.
