Telecommunications giant Vodafone has announced that all its workers will be entitled to a four-month maternal and paternal leave. Vodafone announced that the new move will enable it, employees, to have quality time with their family after welcoming a new child. It added that the leave will cut across all parents. This means that both male and female employees will have 4 months of leave.
Making the announcement, Vodafone Ghana Human Resources Manager, Hannah Ashiokai Akrong noted that: “We are excited about the new policy that offers more flexibility to our employees who will now enjoy four months paid leave as they welcome new additions to their families.”
