Atletico Madrid to double Thomas Partey’s salary to stop arsenal’s interest

Atletico Madrid has decided to double Thomas Partey’s salary to £130,000 a week. The midfielder is in demand with Arsenal leading the race to sign him. Arsenal is said to have already had a bid of £43.6 million which Atletico has rejected.

Thomas Partey is seen as a key player for Atletico Madrid and that is why they are prepared to double his salary. He has been playing almost all games for the Spanish club and is said to have a very good relationship with Diego Simeone. Thomas is also a key player for the Ghanaian national team having been capped 27 times.
