Ghana Bankers Association CEO Has Passed Away

Daniel Ato Kwamina Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Bankers Association is dead. Reports reaching our newsroom indicate that the SEO died after a short illness. The CEO was set to retire from the association this year after serving for many years.

The death was confirmed by the association’s president Alhassan Andani in a notice to the association members. In the notice, Andani noted that: “It is with a heavy heart and deeply sorry that I on behalf of the Family of Mr. D. K Mensah announce the passing of our beloved colleague. The sad event happened yesterday (Friday). I have on behalf of the council spoken to Mrs. Mensah and his son Eugene Mensah to convey our condolences and assurance of support to the family during this difficult time. Let us all remember DK and his family in our prayers.”
