Stacy Amoateng has received the personality of the year award for another time. The 2019/2020 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards event was held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra. It’s ten years since this scheme of awarding media personalities begun. The major aim of this scheme is to honor media personalities who have done well in the respective fields in the year under review.
Stacy was crowned as the topmost category of the scheme in 2017/2018. During this year’s awards, she also received the award for the best TV Developmental Show Host of the Year. Bernard Avle (Citi FM), Nana Aba Anamoah (GhOne TV), Afia Pokuaa (Adom FM to Okay FM), Umaru Sanda Amadu (Citi FM), Patrick Osei Agyemang (Adom TV), and Abeiku Aggrey Santana (Okay FM) were among the competitor under this scheme.
In a post appreciating family, fans, and the crew she stated “It has always been you Elohim. You always make a way. When my back is against the wall and it looks as if it was over. Thanks to God Almighty for His constant love and favor.”
This year only Stacy has received 6 awards. At the Ghana Arts and Entertainment events, she was crowned as the woman of the Year. Besides she also received the superwoman of the year award. Honorary award and the most outstanding female personality award are the other awards that she got.
