Barima Sydney has disclosed that he only believes in Jesus and not God. Speaking during an interview the Ghanaian hiplife Musician said, “I’m a believer and not a Christian, I’m a true believer in Christ, everyone goes to church, a believer is the one with the Holy Spirit. I don’t mention God I mention Jesus Christ. I don’t use God I use Christ Jesus, he is my lord and personal saviour that’s it.”
He revealed the reason he doesn’t believe in God, “Which Father? You see it’s the same Jesus Christ. Are you telling me that if you enter heaven now you will see three chairs, you’re God on one of the chairs then your Jesus and Holy Spirit? Is that now picturing heaven to be? It’s just one seat and it’s Jesus who sits on it. He is the Holy Spirit over there now manifest himself every time. He used to deal with us directly as the father then he realized that it won’t help so he has to come as flesh, he came to have a feel of our flesh and to tell us all we need to know after he left he asked the spirit to stay with us. They God the father-son and the Holy Spirit but God in 3 persons, so he’s one.
Barima Sydney said that he believes in Jesus because according to the Bible no one goes to the Father except through Jesus. He insisted that if you don’t believe in Jesus, everything is a waste.
