Silicon Valley-based company Overland-Tandberg, a global technology company has announced that it’s ready and committed to expanding its operations to Africa and especially Ghana.

Overland-Tandberg chairman, Eric Kelly announced the closing bell-ringing ceremony at NASDAQ. According to Mr. Kelly, “Over the last 40 years, we have done business in over 90 countries, and it’s now time to expand, this time to Ghana.”

In his speech, Mr. Kelly thanked H.E. Barfour Adjei-Barwuah who is Ghana’s Ambassador to the U.S for his role in ensuring that Overland Tandberg’s plan to open offices in Ghana was successful.

Kelly noted that “A few months ago, the Ambassador met with us and sold Ghana to us and encouraged our company to set up operations in Ghana. We have worked at a neck-breaking speed to make this possible in just about three months. And I’m happy to say that we have acquired office space in Ghana and ready to start operations soon.”

In 2019 Adjei-Barwuah met several Senior Managers of some of the best tech companies in the U.S including SAP, eBay, PayPal, Overland-Tandberg, Bosch and many others to encourage them to extend their operations to Ghana.
